Mito Cardia CVS
Mito Cardia CVS contains 100 mg of CoQ10 in each capsule. CoQ10 is a powerful formulation that helps boost energy at the cellular level. Mito Cardia contains N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) and Acetyl L-carnitine (NACar) which help transport fat through the cell membrane, where it is more efficiently utilized in the mitochondria of the cell.

Mito CardiaCVS is a special antioxidant formulation designed to support cellular health and metabolism. Formulated with nutrients & their cofactors that cells need in the ratios cells use them, Mito Cardia provides extra support to fight cellular aging, which is why Mito Cardia is one of the Welltrient Trio (see package items below), which are recommended for all concerned with supporting their health with daily multivitamins.
Mito Cardia may:
Reverse Signs of Cellular Aging
Improve Cellular Function
Fight Free Radicals that cause Cellular Damage
Support the Immune System/Overall Heal
Containing ingredients like acetyl-L-Carnitine, the form of L-Carnitine cells use, Mito Cardia is a highly bioavailable formula: easy for the body to absorb, easy for the body to use.

Vitamin C protects the Mitochondria
: In our body's cells, after entering the Mitochondrion (Mitochondria) via the facilitative glucose transporter 1, Vitamin C (Ascorbate), as an electron donor, confers mitochondrial protection against free radical (oxidative) injury. The spent Vitamin C (Ascorbate) as Dehydroascorbate (Dehydroascorbic acid) awaits for recycling or discharge.
(D-Alpha Tocopheryl with tocotrienols)
Tocopherols protects the Mitochondria
: In our body's cells, after entering the Mitochondrion (Mitochondria) tocopherol (a Vitamin E component), as an electron donor, confers mitochondrial protection against free radical (oxidative) injury. The spent tocopherol (a Vitamin E component) awaits for recycling or discharge.
In the body's cell's, the B vitamins in active forms, Folate (5-methyltetrahydrofolate) as and Choline (as a betaine like Trimethylglycine) are the central methyl donors required for mitochondrial protein and nucleic acid synthesis.
Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone or CoQ10) is vitamin-like substance, an important antioxidant in both mitochondria and lipid membranes in all cells, and responsible for the production of the bodyâs own energy. In each cell food energy is converted into energy for our body in the mitochondria with the aid of CoQ10. Almost all our bodyâs energy requirements (ATP) is converted with the aid of CoQ10.
Taurine regulates Mitochondrial Calcium Homeostasis
: In our body's cells, Taurine prevents or reduces glutamate excitotoxicity through both the enhancement of mitochondrial function and the regulation of intracellular (cytoplasmic and mitochondrial) calcium homeostasis.
Acetyl L-carnitine is the acetyl ester of the amino acid L-carnitine and is similar in form to the amino acid L-carnitine. Acetyl L-carnitine absorbed into the bloodstream more efficiently than L-carnitine and passes more easily through cell membranes and is utilized more efficiently in the mitochondria of the cell, where it is very potent at restoring mitochondria energy production.
Alpha Lipoic Acid
(20mg R Lipoic, 20mg Alpha Lipoic)
Lipoic Acid in the Mitochondria
: In our body's cell's, an acyl carrier protein of lipid synthesis donates the essential enzyme cofactor Lipoic acid to the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex in the Mitochondria (Mitochondrion).
(trimethylglycine, or TMG)
In the body's cell's, the B vitamins in active forms, Folate (5-methyltetrahydrofolate) as and Choline (as a betaine like Trimethylglycine) are the central methyl donors required for mitochondrial protein and nucleic acid synthesis. TMG is a a derivative of the amino acid Glycine that functions closely with choline, folic acid, vitamin B12 and S-adenosyl methionine SAMe. All of these compounds function as "methyl donors." They carry and donate methyl functional groups to facilitate necessary chemical processes. The donation of methyl groups is important to proper liver function, cellular replication, and detoxification reactions. TMG plays a role in the manufacture of carnitine.
Lysine as alpha-ketoglutarate reductase (LKR), is found only in the mitochondrial matrix. L-Lysine an essential amino acid as a necessary building block for all protein in the body, carries a positive charge and facilitate the absorption of calcium from the small intestine. Lysine strengthens the thymus which subsequently improves immune system parameters and is important in the body's production of hormones, enzymes, and antibodies.
Why is taking Mito Cardia important?
Cellular health is important throughout the body; cells in organs including the heart and other tissue need to have the energy to repair cellular damage and maintain metabolic processes within the cell, which are carried out by mitochondria.
Ingredients in Mito Cardia have been shown to support mitochondria against oxidation (free radical damage). Further, nutrients like acetyl-L-Carnitine (which supports cellular energy production) are delivered in the form with the highest bioavailability to the body: that means they are easily absorbed and ready to use by the cells.
High bioavailability of high quality ingredients makes Mito Cardia a superior supplement.
Why are Mitochondria so important?
Mitochondria are responsible for energy production in cells that is then used throughout the body. In creating energy, mitochondria also create free radicals that cause oxidative stress (damage) to mitochondria, DNA, and other parts of the cell.
Damage done by free radicals not only accumulates around mitochondria overtime, but seems to increase the rate at which oxidative damage occurs (creating a circle that perpetuates itself!).
Scientists are still doing research to understand how health, cellular damage caused by free radicals, and mitochondria are affected. While there are probably other factors at play, mitochondria clearly deteriorate with age, which may cause further health concerns. Antioxidant vitamins like Vitamin E & Vitamin C (both found in Mito Cardia) may support mitochondria health and fight oxidative stress/free radicals.
