Black Cohosh root extract (Cimicifuga racemosa) Black cohosh extract inhibits the oversecretion of leutinizing hormone (LH). Black cohosh functions by maintaining healthy levels of luteinizing hormone (LH), allowing for optimal comfort and physical well being. The herb exhibits mild estrogenic activity by binding to estrogen receptors.

dl-Phenylalanine The biosynthesis of other amino acids and some neurotransmitters are derived from the essential amino acid Phenylalanine that can also be converted to tyrosine by a biochemical process in the liver. There is a phenylalanine to estrogen and progesterone relationship in the liver during cytochrome P450 (P450) detoxification processes. The members of the P450 family are heme-containing enzymes. P450 enzymes are crucial for metabolism of endogenous compounds, including steroids, fatty acids and cholesterol.
